Short drama shot in Rye, East Sussex.

I was the Art Director on the film, and with a small team of assistants, created a life size prop tree which had to be buoyant, but heavy enough to maintain weight, and be completely waterproof, whilst supporting the weight of two boys.

The tree was constructed from Plastazote and other Azote foam (donated by Zotefoams, Croydon), filled with empty plastic bottles and injected with expanding foam, weighted by an aluminum scaffold pipe.

The stripped surface was created by a latex/acrylic paint mix and finished with sprays.
